Do you try to follow a healthy diet?
Yes, I do try to follow a healthy diet. Apart from the health benefits, working in this industry you need to stay in shape, as it’s fairly unforgiving. I’ve had people I barely know tell me I’ve put on weight!
What are your weaknesses?
Most people would probably say chocolate, but for me it’s lollies!
What do you do for exercise?
I go to the gym as often as my schedule will allow. I do cardio and weights – I actually quite enjoy working out on the bike or the treadmill. Some people find it boring, but it really works for me.
As a performer, why is it important for you stay in shape?
I like to put on a fun and energetic show, and so I need to be fit and full of energy. I want to put on a good show, so I make sure I do the preparation by eating properly and exercising, even if it’s just a walk.
What do you do when you’re feeling down?
I might write a song, or I’ll go and talk to a friend. Sometimes, though, you just need to clear your head, so I’ll go for a long walk before I talk to anybody.
