How did you get into music? When I was 13 I used to say to my Dad I’m bored, I’ve got nothing to do. He was looking through the paper one day and saw this ad for singing tuition because I used to muck around singing at home.

What do you do in your spare time? Write Lyrics
Do you play any sports? No, I quit sports when I was young.

Besides your music what music do you listen to? Anything really, If I like it I listen to it and sometimes if I like it enough I will go out and buy it myself.
What are you most looking forward to in 1997? There is a musical coming up called “Nathanial’s Storm” that I will be doing for the Festival of Dreaming.

What makes you laugh? Anything funny or I laugh when I am nervous.

Who do you admire the most and why? My dad, he is what made me who I am today. He’s always got something to offer me, advice or a gift, something I take and use later on.
What do you like about yourself? I am very patient with people
Where do you get your hair cut? My dad used to do it for me, he was really cool at it but I don’t have hair anymore, we shaved it off.
When you were a kid what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a lawyer
Do you have a nickname? What is it? Some people call me urshy, shorty. The kids at the fire escape call me grandma or sumo.
How would your best friend describe you? They’d probably say she’s too quiet, she doesn’t talk enough.
