Achieving on & off the sporting field

Albert Torrens

Albert Torrens started his rugby league career as a young country kid from northern NSW playing wing for Manly.

He has come a long way since those early days. Now a centre, Albert has proven to be one of the Northern Eagles’ finest players and highest tryscorers.

Albert was a real crowd favourite in 2000, impressing fans with his freakish tryscoring ability a remarkable four tries against the Bulldogs in round 22 alone. Although the Eagles struggled at times throughout the year, Torrens always managed to perform well.
