The organisation responsible for growing Indigenous business diversity by connecting its suppliers with corporate and government business, Supply Nation, will hold its annual conference, tradeshow and Gala Dinner Awards Night, Connect 2014, in May.

Connect 2014 with its theme of Leading Change in Business will be held at the Australian Turf Club’s newly refurbished Royal Randwick Racecourse Grandstand on 26 and 27 May respectively, and will be followed by a black tie Gala Dinner Awards Night at the historic Sydney Town Hall on the evening of 27 May.
This year’s Connect conference will coincide with Australia’s National Sorry Day commemorations. Supply Nation’s Connect Tradeshow and Gala Dinner will coincide with the launch of National Reconciliation Week (NRW), celebrated across Australia each year between May 27 and June 3.
The event focuses on developing new relationships, expansion of existing partnerships and facilitating the growth of a vibrant and prosperous Indigenous business sector, Supply Nation CEO Charles Prouse says.
“Since its inception in 2010, Connect has grown year-on-year to become one of Australia’s largest and most prestigious supplier diversity events,” Charles says.

Keynote speakers are both nationally and internationally prominent business leaders, from the corporate and government sector in Australia and, internationally, the Founder and President of the Freemount Corporation Company and the Building Community Institute-A Human Capital Development Company, Clifton L Taulbert.
Chosen by CNN at the turn of the millennium to represent one of the many voices of community, Clifton Taulbert was born and attended school in the Mississippi Delta during the era of legal segregation. He has served as a guest professor at Harvard University, the United States Air Force Academy and FEI-Federal Executive Institute.
Clifton has delivered training internationally, from NATO in Brussels to many of the continental congresses in Central America, community colleges nationally as well as Lockheed Martin, Bank of America, the United States Department of Defense and K-12 school systems around the world.
